Quay Words and Poetry Africa Final Day Celebration and Networking with Tolu Agbelusi

Throughout 2021 we’ve been thrilled to work with Poetry Africa to curate 5 days of work celebrating, showcasing and developing women writers from the UK and South Africa, funded by the British Council.

On this final day, we invite women writers from both countries to come together, network, meet each other, discuss their practice and celebrate the programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for writers to make international connections and socialise. The celebration will be facilitated by the Tolu Agbelusi who will be providing exercises to get you talking.

We’ll be marking the end of the UN’s 16 days of activism against gender-based violence and celebrating Human Rights Day. We’re thankful for the time we’ve had to make international connections between so many brilliant women and hope you will join us to celebrate!

This event will take place on Zoom, you will be emailed joining instructions after booking. There are 10 spaces available for writers from the UK and 10 spaces for writers from South Africa, please ensure that you select the ticket correct ticket type when booking.
